The Lake Fork of the Gunnison River has begun to see a quick increase in flows from recent warm weather. Clarity has begun to take a hit but the fish are continuing to feed. Fish are residing in the softer water along the banks and behind structure. Fishing smaller stonefly nymps, attractor nymphs and baetis nymphs have been consistently finding fish. With clarity being off-colored fish 3x and 4x to help combat higher water. Possible weather this upcoming weekend may cool run-off down and fishing conditions will improve.
